Dear Highwater Family,
First and always—thank you.
We want to begin by saying how grateful we are for you. Your prayers, encouragement, generosity, and belief in what God is building through Highwater mean more than we can adequately express. Every step forward exists because you’ve chosen to walk with us.
This past weekend was a gift.
We had the joy of spending time with Rochelle Gordon, our new Director of Development, and her husband Blair. What makes this especially meaningful is that Rochelle and Blair aren’t just joining the work—they are original members of the Highwater 100. They believed early, stepped in early, and now God has aligned their hearts and gifts with this next season of Highwater.
Over the weekend we:
Filmed new videos
Shared meals and fellowship
Prayed together
And spent focused time strategizing how we can work together to onboard 100 new people and churches into the Highwater vision
It was full of clarity, unity, and encouragement—and it reminded us again that Highwater has always been about people, not just projects.
There’s also some exciting momentum happening right now:
Our new business cards have arrived and are ready for in-person conversations.
100 DVDs of The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold should arrive today, giving us a powerful way to share Highwater’s story face-to-face.
Aaron’s pitch will soon be boosted on Facebook and Instagram, reaching future Highwater 100 members online.
And locally, Rochelle and I will be hitting the streets, meeting with people and churches in our community to invite the faithful next wave of the Highwater 100.
All of that brings us to the short video below.
Aaron put together a simple, funny, and very honest explanation of where we are right now with our next film, So You Want To Marry My Daughter. In true Aaron fashion, he attempts to explain it in a “very normal, professional way”… and then introduces a visual aid that perfectly captures the moment we’re in.
The idea is simple: the film is small, beautiful, and ready—it’s just waiting to be thawed. And the Highwater 100? They’re the “microwaves.”
We hope you’ll watch the video, smile a little, and be reminded that you’re not just supporting a movie—you’re helping bring stories to life that point people toward faith, family, and truth.
Thank you for being part of this family. We are grateful for you, and we’re excited for what God is doing next.
With gratitude,
Seth Himes
