Welcome to our first monthly Highwater video update!
July was filled with family adventures, ministry in Cambodia, and major progress for Highwater. We officially formed the Highwater Christian Film Fund, a new nonprofit created to help supporters give tax-deductible gifts toward Christian filmmaking and ministry.
Development continues on So You Want to Marry My Daughter. The screenplay, cast, and primary location are in place, and we are preparing to film in Pennsylvania next summer with Robert Amaya and his team. Our August goal is to finalize the script and begin breaking down the movie for production.
We are also building a team of 100 monthly supporters and forming fundraising committees to organize dinners, auctions, movie nights, and other events. This will allow our production team to remain focused on preparing the film while others help expand the ministry.
We recently learned that The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold reached another 25,000 viewers during the past quarter and has now reached more than one million people. That is the impact of one movie—and we believe God is only getting started.
